The most notable aspect of the new "Axia" flavor is its price.

Until now, the only option, no matter how cheap, was Sentia's 530 yen, but now you can buy it for 480 yen, less than a coin.

It can't compete with the lowest-priced glow, but the fact that it can be purchased for less than a coin makes a big impact.

Axia comes in five flavors.

Aksia offers five flavors, and surprisingly, there is a full range of regular flavors.

Recently, menthol has been in a boom, and most of the companies have menthol lineups, but Axia has five different flavors, three of which are regular.

I think the menthol lineup will be expanded when it is officially rolled out in the future, but it is a drastic lineup.

Axia Rich Cigarettes

Rich cigarettes are packaged in a white background with a single dark blue dot.

Since Terrier also has a rich regular, the flavor strain is not as sweet as the Scentia Deep Bronze, but rather a flavor that has a strong tobacco taste.

Axia Smooth Cigarette

Smooth Tobacco is packaged in a white background with a single blue dot.

I think the flavor lineage of this one is also Terrier's Smooth Regular.... Smooth Regular is my regular flavor, and if the taste is similar, I would consider switching to this flavor, which I am most interested in.

Axia Clear Tobacco

Clear Cigarettes are packaged in a light blue on a white background, giving them a "light" flavor.

This is the first time I've had a clear 00 in menthol, but not in regular. I don't know what it tastes like, but it definitely seems to be as light as the packaging.

Axia Dark Green

Dark Green is green on a white background, but the package itself is not as dark green as it should be.

However, being the only menthol flavor, it is considered to be a royal menthol flavor, with a menthol level of about 4 out of 5.

Axia Purple Aroma

Purple Aroma is packaged in purple on a white background, with an airflow-like pattern printed in green to represent menthol.

I think the flavor is like an Axia version of the classic berry menthol, but there are quite a few berry flavors on the market, including from other companies, so I'm curious about the flavor.

Axia Reviews and Comments

Since it was released on January 11, there were already a few people who said, "I smoked it!" Here are their impressions of the product.

In general, it seemed to be well-received, and the reviews indicated that we would like to see it expand nationwide.

Usually menthos are 4 *, but maybe dark green is about 3.5 *.

Is Axia Rich Tobacco irritating?

I smoked the rich tobacco of Axia, but it has a strong throat-piercing ickiness, and after smoking, I can feel a bitter lingering taste in my mouth, which is not my favorite tobacco, so Axia is not my main tobacco.

Three popular brands in Axia

I looked up Axia on twitter and found that the following three brands were by far the most common, so I'll share those with you as well.

• Axia Rich Cigarettes
• Axia Dark Green
• Axia Purple Aroma

To my surprise, not a single person posted about smooth and clear tobacco.

I guess it is still a matter of trying the high road at first.

Axia is limited to Hokkaido and Fukuoka

The rumored Axia, unfortunately, is not available to everyone.

Aksia is only available in the following stores in Hokkaido and Fukuoka... I just hope it will be available nationwide soon.

Axia has no pack code!

Axia doesn't come with a pack code, just FYI. I'm not sure if it's a lottery or not, but I've been going to the iQOS store for tea only a few times a year since the end of last year. glo has pack codes for cheap lucky ones.

Perhaps it is a reaction to the lower prices...the familiar pack code for tobacco products is not available at Axia.

I am a little disappointed as I have registered the pack code every time despite my complaints.

I don't know if there is no pack code because it is now on test sale or because it is cheap, but as the submitter said, the $400 Lucky Strike also comes with a pack code, which I hope PMJ will consider.

Axia Summary

At any rate, right now it is only available in Hokkaido and Fukuoka, so the only way for people in other areas, including myself, to get it is to have someone purchase it on our behalf.

I don't plan to visit the sales area in the near future, so I guess we'll have to wait and see on this one for a while.

Some commented that the taste was "not my favorite," but in general the reviews were positive, and we look forward to a nationwide expansion.
