Reading the introduction from when HYPER air and X2 were the latest models as if it were the complete 2026 lineup (which includes Hilo, etc.) will cause confusion. Heated cigarette "glo glow" device

When people hear glo, many picture the impressively thin glo hyper air or glo hyper X2, which were the latest models at the time, but through repeated trial and error, many different devices were released leading up to that series.

The series is now in its 11th generation, and can be divided into three major series based on differences in dedicated cigarette sticks and specifications.

First Glow Series First generation GLO series

This model uses a slim-size dedicated cigarette stick and is an early model without a boost mode.

GlowPro Series glo pro series

This model uses a slim-size dedicated cigarette stick, and for the first time in the history of heated cigarettes, it is equipped with two heating modes.

Glow Hyper Series glo hyper series

This model uses a thicker dedicated cigarette stick, a thicker stick version of the Glow Pro with a boost mode.

Type of Glow Body

The original glo was released in 2016-12, and at the time this article was written, only 4 models—glo pro, glo pro slim, glo hyper X2, and glo hyper air—were on sale. Please check the official website for the latest lineup.

In the original article, the glo pro series at the time was described as "scaling back slightly, but still on sale including devices." That description reflects the 2023 publication and does not confirm continued sales today.

Unfortunately, the "glo hyper + UNIQUE" with interchangeable side panels was never made a standard item and disappeared as a limited release.

Types of limited edition models Glow has released in the past

Glow has released a lot of different colors, such as limited edition colors for convenience stores, but we do not count them as limited edition models because there are so many of them and they do not seem to be limited.

I checked past articles focusing on limited edition models like the "XX Edition," and found a whopping 13 different types.

Many of the limited edition models are available in the Glow Hyper series, which suggests that BAT is a Glow Hyper pusher.

Glow "Premium Collection" Review

What was worse, it was a degraded version with the same design, the battery capacity reduced to half, and the size reduced by only a few millimeters.

Moreover, it was also a series that disappeared without any support because it was needlessly expensive at 3,980 yen while the base Series 2 was reduced to 1,980 yen.
