2023年5月のグロー本体・コンビニ販売調査

Two types of glow cigarettes are available: the "Glow Hyper" series, which uses a thicker tobacco stick, and the "Glow Pro" series, which uses a slimmer stick.

There are two types of devices in each series, for a total of four models to choose from.

In addition, the actual purchase of these glow devices is mostly available at glo stores and convenience stores, with the exception of online stores, where free and discount coupons are offered on a guerrilla basis.

Because the selling price is lower at glo stores and convenience stores, and the exclusive cigarettes can be purchased as is, a great many people buy them at convenience stores instead of online stores.

2023 Glow Type and Sales

Glow is BAT's brand of heated cigarettes, which went on sale in Sendai in December 2016, and has been available in a variety of models.

This list shows that there were many different types of glow sold, though,The two actual major upgrades in terms of specifications came from the Glow Pro and Glow Hyper.

A low-temperature heated tobacco device (GlowSense) was also launched in the past, but was withdrawn after about a year.

2023 List of exclusive cigarettes for Glow

2023 Total of 34 types of exclusive Glow cigarettes sold at convenience stores(in Japanese history)glohyper25type, ,gloprofessional9 types)The following is a list of the most common problems with the

In reality, however, many flavors have fallen off the shelves (brands that have been rejected due to the number of cigarettes available on the shelves), and it is rare for a convenience store to have all 34 flavors on sale.

There is a considerable difference between old and new stores, large and small, so if you are smoking a rare brand, we recommend that you buy from a larger, newer store.

Glow Hyper Exclusive Brand: 25 Flavors

GlowPro exclusive brands: 9 flavors

My impression after visiting convenience stores, old and new, large and small, is that there should be 9 types of Glow Pro series, but many stores only have 3 to 5 types.

In many cases, we also sold only three to five flavors of Kent, which is exclusive to Glow Hyper, instead of seven, because many of the flavors are similar.

Lucky Strike and Cool, which are strong in terms of price and name value, were carried in most stores.

The main stores where Glow can be purchased are online at directly managed stores, and it is available not only at the official online store, but also at Rakuten Ichiba and Yahoo Shopping.

There are also glo stores where you can purchase in-person, but the number of stores has been drastically reduced, so using convenience stores is recommended.
*All stores were closed as of May 2023.

2023 Glow Price List

2023 As of now, there are a total of four glow devices available for purchase: the Glow Hyper Air and Glow Hyper X2, the latest models in the Glow Hyper series; and the Glow Pro Slim and Glow Pro in the Glow Pro series.

The prices sold at each retailer are as listed, and while Glow has been expanding its sales by offering some kind of discount, the latest model, Glow Hyper X2, has unusually not been reduced much, at 1,980 yen.

The cooling of the economy due to Corona, the momentum of Aicos Ilma, and the rapid depreciation of the yen due to overseas production may be slowly causing damage.

2023 Is there a convenience store, coupon, etc. for glow?

Unfortunately, there are no current promotions or coupons.

In 2023, the following promotions and coupons were available

Period	Contents	Target stores
Through January 22, 2023	1000 yen discount Campaign	glo stores nationwide Convenience stores nationwide Some tobacco retailers glo online store
Through February 19, 2023	glo hyper X2 body free of charge 0 yen campaign	Family Mart (company) Lawson.
Through March 12, 2023	glo hyper X2 50%OFF coupon	FamilyMart Receipt

The limited convenience store coupons are offered at different times from the official ones and are for members of each company's apps and point system, so they are not available to everyone.
*Distributed using data from Famipay and Ponta members, and extraction conditions are unknown.

However, there is a trick, and when this type of coupon (receipt) is issued, it is sometimes sold on Mercari, etc. If you want to get the coupon, you should open the following link and press "Save Search Criteria"!

Glow Availability and Prices 7-Eleven

The only 7-Eleven near me that I was able to confirm is the latest model, Glow Hyper X2, and they do carry it, just not in stock.

However, since the person we spoke to was a lady who did not know much about cigarettes, she was unsure about future arrivals.

Glow Availability and Prices Lawson

I found a rare find at a nearby Lawson, a Glow Nano that was supposed to have been discontinued a long time ago....I assume the battery is probably in a degraded and unusable condition.I did not ask about the price because I was afraid that I would feel obliged to buy it if I asked about the price.

Some stores have old devices in stock, though this is rare,Products that we don't even know if the warranty will work. So, if you buy, be prepared to take a risk.

Glow Availability and Prices Ministop

The Ministop in my neighborhood is quite well stocked,The latest model Glow Hyper X2 was available, as well as Glow Pro Slim and, although not shown in the photo, Glow Hyper Plus.

The number of devices in stock is not large, with three Glow Hyper X2s and one each of the others, but we were able to confirm that all devices except the Glow Pro were in stock.

Perhaps it was the timing of my visit to the store, but there were a lot of Plume X's lined up and not a single Ico.

As for glow, the Glow Hyper X2 seems to be sold out, and there was only one Glow Hyper Plus in stock.I thought it was a pretty rare case, but it means that this kind of thing can happen depending on the timing and the store.

How to Save on Glow

Globe had frequent campaigns until last year, but in 2023 there will be only one overall campaign.

Finally, please refer to the following information on how to save money at each retailer.

Please keep in mind that this method is not available at all times, so you need to watch the timing of your purchase to get the best price.

How to buy Glow at a discount (1) Convenience store version

Convenience stores issue a variety of coupons based on information from the companies' apps and member sites.

These coupons are often distributed at different times from the official website campaign, so you can save money even when there is no campaign going on, but the coupons are issued under certain conditions based on membership data, so not everyone can use them.

This is where Mercari comes in handy. People who receive coupons but don't use them are selling them on Mercari for a few hundred yen.

By purchasing this coupon, you can save a little money!

• Spring Super PayPay FestivalMarch: Most of them are conducted in March.
• Winter Super PayPay FestivalNovember is the most common month for implementation.

Various other campaigns, such as Pei-Pei Jumbo and the Year-End Thanksgiving Festival, are also held, so if you buy at the right time, you can get points back or buy at a discounted price!

Summary of Glow's sales at convenience stores

We looked around at five stores - Seven, Famima, Lawson, Ministop, and Daily Yamazaki - and found that the latest model Glow Hyper X2 was fairly easy to buy.

However, the rest of the Glow Hyper Plus, Glow Pro Slim, and Glow Pro are not so widely stocked in stores, so they may be out of stock depending on when you go to buy them.

It is best to buy from a dealer of your choice according to your needs, but please be sure to time your purchase to get the best deal!
