SENTIA Icy Black Review | Historical Comparison with Discontinued HEETS

Good evening,Heated cigarette blogger Genki (@MOQLOG_JP)It is.

SENTIA, a long-awaited product for Aicos Ilma users, is now available.

For existing IQOS 3 series users, the launch of the Irma ONE and the Sentia completely removes the price barrier to transition.

Then you are concerned about "taste," right?

Just released.SENTIAHa,HEETSand does it taste the same? I wish I could tell you about that..

Comparative Review of Sentia Icy Black

sentierschool (e.g. of ikebana)HEETSのFlavor Nameand is used as it is today.reviewThe "icy blackThe same goes for.

I guess they are using the same flavor names to make it easier for existing users to transition to the Icos Irma series.

However, when the ILUMA went on sale, there were many people who compared the existing Icos with blades and the new Icos ILUMA without blades, and felt a "difference", although it was subtle..

That is why today I will introduce you to HEETS' Icy Black and SENTIA's Icy Black, comparing the two.

Compare basic specifications

I had expected that,Official Sitedue tospecificationis exactly the same for both SENTIA and HEETS.

As these specifications indicate, SENTIA seems to be perfectly positioned to be the Irma version of HEETS.

HEETS Icy Black was, in my opinion, snappy compared to Blamen, so today's review will be the most egregious for me, as I am not a fan of menthol.

I plan to write a six-part SENTIA review series, so I'll try to compare smokes without dying.

Compare Packages

The packaging design is more similar to that of TEREA, with SENTIA printed on the entire surface of the lid.

But the coloring is exactly the same,The only difference is whether the black and green gradient is from the right or the left, so a quick glance would be mistaken..

Looking at the back, the difference is clear: HEETS are also colored on the back and also state that they cannot be used with the IQOS ILUMA series.

In contrast, SENTIA has a simple design, with a white background and black writing that it is exclusively for IQOS ILUMA.

If you try to judge by color appearance alone, you may make a mistake, so the criterion for judgment will be whether it says "for IQOS ILUMA" or not.

When you buy it at a convenience store, you should make sure to look at the package carefully.
I've bought a few things by mistake at *iluma a few times.

Compare Heat Sticks

The silver inner foil paper in SENTIA appears to be the same as TEREA.

The HEETS were as simple as ever, the differences unimportant, but there was one difference.

If you remember the design of the filter section, you should have no problem, but HEETS has the familiar three horizontal bars.

SENTIA was the same as TEREA, with a ripple design and the word SENTIA.

We weighed it and found that Sentia is about 0.1 g heavier!.

However, since the blades are built into the tobacco leaf, they are probably heavier because of this.

Compared smoking SENTIA and HEETS Icy Black.

IQOS ILUMA × SENTIA

I smoked it from SENTIA Icy Black, and while it is definitely a strong menthol, I could strongly detect a richness or a kind of sourness that could be found in mint.

However, it is not sweet at all, and the taste is quite thirst-quenching, more like the original taste of menthol than the original taste of tobacco? I wonder if this is called a clear taste.

IQOS 3 DUO × HEETS

I am sure that the contents of HEETS' Icy Black are the same, but I still felt a subtle difference in flavor due to the difference in heating methods.

First of all, it is purely soooo good, without any of the acidity that I felt in SENTIA.

I also felt that HEETS has a heavier draw, perhaps due to the stick's tighter fit, and is more rewarding to smoke.

tobaccoalso voted for HEETS,Menthol strengthThe result is the same, but with a difference in the details!.

SENTIA and HEETS Icy Black smoking comparison summary

I have summarized my impressions of the smoking comparison at the end of this report for your reference.

I wrote a bit about this earlier,Perhaps the tobacco content is the same..

However, the differences in the construction of the holders and the heating system, while minor, have no doubt created the differences mentioned above!.

It is not about which is tastier, as we all have our preferences.

However, if you are a sucker for icy black, you might want to take these differences into account when choosing a device.

postscript

I guess the difference is just something you get used to if you keep smoking, but it kind of reminded me of the first time I smoked an IQOS ILUMA.

We plan to do a comparative review of Frosted Green next time, so please take another peek if you like menthol.

Well, that's all for today, good night.
