Tobacco part of a heated cigarette that is concerned about what's inside.
Hello,Heated cigarette blogger Genki (@MOQLOG_JP)It is.
As the title of this article suggests, I used a cutter to cut Icos heat sticks, Plumtec cigarette capsules, and Glow Neosticks! This is what it is all about.
What is the structure of what you normally smoke? I'm curious!
Please refer to the comparison of the dirtiness of the filter.
Basic Structure of Tobacco
Cigarettes (filter cigarettes) are made up of "kizami," "makishi," "filter," and "chip paper," right?
The PlumTec cigarette capsule is different, but it is very similar in shape, so it is likely that the Heat Stick and Neostick would have roughly the same construction.
I cut it roughly with a cutter, thinking that if I cut it in half, I would be able to tell.
Icos: Heat Stick

The other difference from paper cigarettes is that the tobacco leaf is in the form of a board.
But when you break it down like this, tobacco leaves are only about one-third of the total (sweat).

This fiber-like filter, one theory is that the heated steam is cooled by passing it through a thin fiber-like filter? This seems to be a strong theory.

I compared the heat stick I finished smoking with the unused heat stick, and there is quite a bit of yankee on it.
One thing I am wondering is whether this fiber-like filter is melting? One concern is that the fiber-like filter may not be melting, but it is shrinking due to heat.
Perhaps this is connected to the Icos harmful theory.
Plumtec: Cigarette capsule

However, the contents are similar to a conventional cigarette, with a filter at the mouth and crushed tobacco leaves packed underneath.
I'll lay out all the varieties later, but by far the Plumtec has the least amount of tobacco leaves.

I think the purple and green powders have flavoring mixed into them, but the regular powder was "powder" as it was.
The filter is also small, about the same size as the filter on the mouthpiece of an Icos.

You can see that the paper around the filter is a bit yellowish, though not as yellow as the Icos.
The filter itself is hardly dirty, which is surprising.
Glow: Neostick

But it's just scanty...it's awfully hollow.
The tobacco leaf also looks a little like a jug, but not quite like a jug, and the shape is a little different from that of a paper cigarette.

Maybe it depends on the flavor, but the color is also overwhelmingly light.
I like the aroma, but the glow itself is not tasty for some reason...I don't know why.

The filter is also yellow, so the dirt is similar to that of Icos.
The scumptious part may serve as a fiber-like filter for the heat stick (cooling effect).
Comparison of Tobacco Leaves from Three Heated Cigarette Companies

Considering the tax rate, I thought that heat sticks would have the largest amount of tobacco leaf, but a quick glance reveals that neosticks are dominant.
As for the cigarette capsules, it is said that this is equivalent to five cigarette papers...not many.
Tobacco leaf aroma
Neostick had the most aroma, followed by heat stick, and the one I hardly felt was tobacco capsule.
Dirty filter
The dirtiest part was still the heat stick, and the glow was also quite dirty, but as for the Plumtec, you can see that it was almost completely clean.
feeling of being ripped off
PlumTec is only 5 capsules of that quantity, so it seems to me that it is somehow considerably more expensive.
Next is Icos, which is also quite expensive since only less than one-third of a heat stick is filled with tobacco leaves.
The glow is half full of tobacco leaves, so that's okay.
Hazardous Substances
I can't help but notice the fiber-like filter on the Icos.
I really wonder if it's okay...
The other thing is the cigarette capsule. There are reports that the bottom of the capsule melts if it is smoked with a high output e-cigarette, so it would indeed be harmful if it melts.
In this sense, the glow is also delicate. 360-degree heating means that the part that is heated the most is the paper part, which is the wrapping paper.
Plus: Paper cigarettes are also compared

The most common is paper cigarettes, which goes without writing.
The aroma was also decisive, but above all, the dirtiness of the filter, I won't post a picture, but you can see that it is very dirty, as even the suction cup is yellow.
postscript
Once again, I could see how great PlumTec is.
However, I understand that the cost of the cartridge is being charged, but I still thought it should be about 100 yen cheaper (sweat).
I thought I could figure it out when I took it apart, but the only thing I couldn't figure out is that the Icos and Glows produce water vapor.
There were no parts that seemed to contain water, which probably means that the tobacco leaf itself contains glycerin and other moisture.
The heated cigarette war is gradually heating up, but we hope that companies will play their cards right so as not to burn too much and produce toxic substances.
Now, if you'll excuse me, I'd like to thank you for your time.
